About the Opportunity VocoVision is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. As a full-time, independent contractor, you'll be working virtually with students in grades 6-8, providing both direct and indirect services that cater to their unique needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement personalized educational plans for students in grades 6-8, ensuring they meet their full potential. Regularly assess student progress, using data to inform instruction and make necessary adjustments. Essential Qualifications To thrive in this role, you'll need: An active South Carolina Special Education License. If you're not based in South Carolina, don't worry; you can still apply if you hold a valid special education license in your home state and are willing to obtain South Carolina licensure. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in special education, showing your capability to handle the challenges and rewards of this role.
