Remote Software Architect

Accountabilities • Lead and define architecture for backend systems ensuring scalability. • Guide the development of marketing technologies and predictive systems. • Oversee infrastructure and data flows across various systems. • Drive technical strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Evaluate new technologies and support long-term investment decisions. • Demonstrate high technical expertise by building reliable, scalable systems. • Mentor software and data engineers to foster their growth. • Establish best practices for testing, code quality, and reliability. Requirements • 8+ years of engineering experience with leadership responsibility. • Proficiency in backend engineering and distributed systems. • Strong experience with cloud infrastructure design, particularly AWS. • Expertise in programming languages such as Elixir, Python, and JavaScript. • Strong communication skills to partner with product and business leaders. • Experience owning and resolving high-impact technical challenges. • Proactive mindset for risk mitigation and problem-solving.
