Position: School Social Worker (0.5 FTE)

Qualifications:
ā¢ Master's degree in Social Work or related field
ā¢ Valid state licensure for social work
ā¢ Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting
ā¢ Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education requirements
ā¢ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
ā¢ Proficient in using virtual tools for counseling and support
Location:
ā¢ Primarily based in Aztec, NM, with an option for virtual services
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral issues
ā¢ Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement IEP goals and strategies
ā¢ Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet diverse needs
ā¢ Facilitate training and resources for staff on social-emotional learning and strategies
ā¢ Engage with families to provide insights and resources for supporting student success
ā¢ Document and maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress
