Ā High School | 9th-12th Grade students | Supported by SLPA
Ā Part Time 20 Hours
Job Details:
Ā Conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities while working from a remote area.
Ā Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders and difficulties.
Ā Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
Ā Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
Ā Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Ā Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and providing input regarding students' communication needs.
Qualifications:
Ā Louisiana State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology.
Ā Type C- Credential (will take education cred. pending)
Ā Masters in Speech and Language Pathology or Teacher of Speech and Language Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Ā Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Ā Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
