[Remote] Slate Business Data Analyst | Remote | Only W2

The role involves configuring and maintaining Slate components, analyzing workflows for optimization, and managing data integrity and reporting. Responsibilities • Work alongside the Slate system administrator as the primary Business Analyst supporting enrollment operations. • Configure and maintain Slate components including forms, events, queries, rules, populations, portals, and dashboards, etc. • Partner with enrollment and operations teams to analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation or efficiency. • Translate business needs into system requirements and implement them within Slate alongside the system administrator. • Maintain data integrity and oversee data imports, exports, and integrations (e.g., with SIS, marketing platforms, financial aid systems, etc.). • Design and deliver actionable dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for leadership. • Develop user guides, documentation, and training sessions for Slate users across GPS. • Serve as a subject matter expert and champion of Slate best practice usage. Skills • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 4 6 years of experience with Slate in a higher education environment. • Slate Administration & Support • Work alongside the Slate system administrator as the primary Business Analyst supporting enrollment operations. • Configure and maintain Slate components including forms, events, queries, rules, populations, portals, and dashboards, etc. • Process Optimization • Partner with enrollment and operations teams to analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation or efficiency. • Translate business needs into system requirements and implement them within Slate alongside the system administrator. • Data Management & Reporting • Maintain data integrity and oversee data imports, exports, and integrations (e.g., with SIS, marketing platforms, financial aid systems, etc.). • Design and deliver actionable dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for leadership. • Training & User Engagement • Develop user guides, documentation, and training sessions for Slate users across GPS. • Serve as a subject matter expert and champion of Slate best practice usage. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with data manipulation, queries, and reporting tools within Slate. • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical solutions for non-technical audiences. • Experience supporting enrollment, admissions, or student services operations. • Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, or SQL. • Knowledge of other higher education systems (e.g., Common Application Solutions (CAS), Liaison Outcomes, Salesforce, Peoplesoft, etc.). • Master s degree or additional experience in Slate management or higher education operations.
