Remote Short-Form Video Editor (Social Media & E-commerce) We are looking for a Remote Video Editor to join our team and create content for our luxury interior car accessories brand. Your main task is to take our existing footage and break it down into high-performing short videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and paid advertisements. We value consistency, speed, and a performance-driven mindset over “artsy” or “cinematic” edits. You should have strong technical skills and understand how to use hooks, fast pacing, and clear visuals to grab attention. Responsibilities: ● Edit for Retention: Create fast-paced edits with strong "hooks" to stop users from scrolling. ● Content Repurposing: Efficiently "chop" and transform existing footage into viral-ready short-form clips. ● Product Focus: Edit "Before and After" transformations, installation videos, and similar videos that highlight the quality and fit of our seat covers. ● Technical Editing: Add clean transitions, subtitles, text overlays, and basic motion graphics to explain product features. ● Format Optimization: Deliver videos in the correct sizes and maintain high visual quality across all platforms. ● Collaboration: Provide ideas and opinions, and implement feedback from the marketing team to improve video performance and click-through rates. Requirements: ● Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software. ● Proven Track Record: Experience editing short-form content that has high engagement, view counts, and conversion rates. ● Attention to Detail: creating quality content that is free from errors. ● Conversion Knowledge: Understanding of e-commerce marketing and conversion, what makes people click onto the website after watching a video. ● Communication: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
