[Remote] Senior SQL Developer with Capital markets exp (12PM-9PM ET shift preferable)

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Luxoft is seeking aSenior SQL Developer to build risk applications and tools for a top-tier hedge fund. The role involves developing and maintaining various database applications that support Risk Management, requiring strong database design and bolthires T-SQL skills. Responsibilities • The Team is focused on the development and maintenance of various database applications supporting Risk Management. The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience in database design, bolthires T-SQL developer, a good working knowledge of end-user and server-side data processing techniques, a good understanding of SDLC and agile development methodologies Skills • Strong understanding of data modelling and data quality principles • Hands-on exp with bolthires Fabric • Extensive experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) • Experience across data architecture and data warehousing techniques and practices is essential • Proven experience in designing and developing data models using industry best practices • Experience in using code management and bolthires/CD tools such as Github, Azure Devops, Jenkins, Bamboo etc • 5+ years of experience working with ETL tools such as SSIS, ADF or similar • Good understanding and demonstrated experience working with Power Query (M query language) and DAX • Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics from complex and disparate platforms • Risks trading system development experience • Business knowledge in trading domain / capital markets Company Overview • Luxoft is an IT company that works globally to give customers software development, product engineering, and consulting.It was founded in 2000, and is headquartered in Zug, Zug, CHE, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
