[Remote] Senior Platform Developer | Python (FastAPI) + React - Remote (USA) - Up to $150k base + benefits USD

Conspicuous is a fast-growing, enterprise-scale organization seeking a Senior Platform Developer to enhance internal platforms that support secure and scalable application development. The role involves building internal platform services, developing AI-assisted workflows, and creating backend services using FastAPI and React.

Responsibilities
• Build and own internal platform services for integration, orchestration, and automation
• Develop AI-assisted workflows for mappings, transformations, and documentation (with validation/review checkpoints)
• Create backend services with FastAPI (Python) and internal tools/UI with React
• Integrate with API Management for secure, observable access
• Define “check-the-box” guardrails for security, logging, auditability, data access, and architecture
• Improve reliability via CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and diagnostics

Skills
• 7+ years software development experience
• Strong FastAPI (or similar) API development
• Strong React experience building internal tools
• Experience using AI-assisted dev tools (e.g., GPT/Claude)
• Solid Git workflows + CI/CD
• API management (e.g., Azure APIM)
• Event-driven/data integration platforms
• Internal platform tooling
• Manufacturing/F&B exposure
