[Remote] Senior Mechanical bolthires Estimator

They are seeking aSenior Mechanical bolthires Estimator with healthcare project experience to join their California team, responsible for providing detailed quantity take-offs and preliminary pricing for various construction projects. Responsibilities • Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types • Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope • Support development of comprehensive bolthires estimates/models communicating the client’s project and strategic goals • Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration • Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures • Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of bolthires information • Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals Skills • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a bolthires estimating professional (ideally in a consulting environment), including conceptual estimating, takeoffs, change order review/reconciliation, and value engineering; prior mechanical trade experience required • Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications) • Working knowledge of bolthires Excel • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Prior healthcare estimating experience highly desired • Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred • A bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred Benefits • Hybrid or remote flexibility depending on role • Company-sponsored Medical/Dental/Vision and Life Insurance • 401K Program with a Company Match • Paid Holidays / Sick Leave / Vacation Accrual • Company Team Building, Employee Events, and a fun, people-first environment Company Overview • Founded in 1982 by Colm O’Connor, OCMI leads the way in estimating, project controls, and construction management solutions.It was founded in 1982, and is headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
