[Remote] Senior iOS Engineer, On Trip
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Airbnb is a global platform that connects hosts and guests for unique stays and experiences. The Senior iOS Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative product features for the Airbnb app, focusing on enhancing the user journey from trip planning to completion.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Explore, shape, and develop new product experiences alongside cross-functional partners (design and product); from ideation to implementation at scale
ā¢ Develop prototypes to validate ideas while proactively considering long-term implications on technical design and architecture
ā¢ Translate prototypes to high quality, scalable, and maintainable production code through iterative development
ā¢ Cross-collaborate across engineering to build new features holistically
ā¢ Work across engineering, product, and design to deliver features in the Trips and Wishlist space for Guests and Hosts
ā¢ Plan, share, align, and execute technical solutions
ā¢ Prototype, facilitate feedback, iterate, and deliver product features and improvements
ā¢ Foster an engineering environment of quality code, relevant documentation, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's and/or master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
ā¢ 5+ years of mobile development experience
ā¢ Demonstrable knowledge in Swift UI
ā¢ Demonstrated expertise in developing iOS applications at a large scale
ā¢ IOS product feature development experience
ā¢ Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working well within engineering and across functions
ā¢ Passionate about design and building UX products
ā¢ Pushing boundaries of design and product features by balancing tradeoffs and iterating to the ideal solution
ā¢ Experience working on a product engineering team or customer-centric platform team
ā¢ Motivation for personal growth and learning new technologies
