[Remote] Senior Data Analyst, Partner & Agent Analytics

As a Senior Analyst in Partner Analytics, you will take ownership of analytical frameworks that guide partner performance and work cross-functionally to drive profitable partner growth and enhance reporting infrastructure. Responsibilities • Design and maintain scalable dashboards and performance reporting to measure partner health, funnel performance, and portfolio economics. • Lead analytical workstreams for partner diligence, onboarding, and optimization — including forecasting and ROI modeling. • Build frameworks to evaluate partner economics (CAC, LTV, retention, and conversion metrics). • Partner with BD and Marketing to evaluate new opportunities, test hypotheses, and guide investment decisions. • Design and execute experiments (A/B or quasi-experimental) to assess and improve partner conversion funnels. • Collaborate with data engineering to enhance data pipelines and ensure accurate, reliable partner reporting. • Mentor junior analysts through project scoping, SQL and modeling reviews, and analytical storytelling. • Translate technical insights into clear recommendations for partner and marketing stakeholders. Skills • 2–5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or decision science • Strong SQL skills and proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Mode, Power BI) • Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting • Proven ability to structure ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks • Excellent written and verbal communication — able to translate complex findings into actionable insights • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and data hygiene habits • High ownership mindset and comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments • Experience in partnerships or B2B2C strongly preferred • Insurance experience preferred • Experience mentoring or coaching junior analysts preferred Benefits • Bonus & LTI eligible Company Overview • Root Inc. is disrupting the archaic, trillion-dollar insurance industry.
