[Remote] Senior Business Immigration Attorney/Counsel
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Diamond Personnel is representing a global law firm seeking an experienced Immigration Senior Attorney or Senior Counsel. The role involves managing a wide range of employment-based immigration matters and advising clients on immigration strategy, compliance, and risk management.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Independently manage a broad range of employment-based immigration matters from initiation through adjudication
ā¢ Advise corporate and institutional clients on immigration strategy, compliance, and risk management
ā¢ Prepare, review, and oversee complex non-immigrant and immigrant filings, including:
ā¢ H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, and other nonimmigrant visa petitions
ā¢ J-1 physician waivers
ā¢ PERM labor certifications
ā¢ I-140 immigrant petitions (EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 including National Interest Waivers, EB-3)
ā¢ I-485 adjustment of status applications and consular processing matters
ā¢ Draft and submit responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other agency inquiries
ā¢ Communicate directly with clients, HR professionals, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and strategic guidance
Skills
ā¢ 5+ years of experience in employment-based immigration law
ā¢ Demonstrated expertise in both non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes
ā¢ Strong working knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and agency procedures
ā¢ J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership
ā¢ Have recent law firm experience
