[Remote] Senior Business Immigration Attorney/Counsel
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Diamond Personnel is representing a global law firm seeking an experienced Immigration Senior Attorney or Senior Counsel. The role involves managing a wide range of employment-based immigration matters and advising clients on immigration strategy, compliance, and risk management.
Responsibilities
⢠Independently manage a broad range of employment-based immigration matters from initiation through adjudication
⢠Advise corporate and institutional clients on immigration strategy, compliance, and risk management
⢠Prepare, review, and oversee complex non-immigrant and immigrant filings, including:
⢠H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, and other nonimmigrant visa petitions
⢠J-1 physician waivers
⢠PERM labor certifications
⢠I-140 immigrant petitions (EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 including National Interest Waivers, EB-3)
⢠I-485 adjustment of status applications and consular processing matters
⢠Draft and submit responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other agency inquiries
⢠Communicate directly with clients, HR professionals, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and strategic guidance
Skills
⢠5+ years of experience in employment-based immigration law
⢠Demonstrated expertise in both non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes
⢠Strong working knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and agency procedures
⢠J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership
⢠Have recent law firm experience
