Responsibilities
• Architect for Scale: Build and maintain performant systems that balance immediate stability with long-term maintainability
• Ship High-Impact Features: Design and release product-facing features where correctness and scalability aren’t just goals—they’re requirements
• Collaborate & Refine: Partner with frontend and data teams to optimize REST APIs supporting millions of customers
• Lead & Mentor: Act as a technical North Star for junior developers, leading complex projects from ideation to deployment
Skills
• 6+ years in software development with a proven track record of building large-scale distributed systems
• Deep familiarity with writing highly concurrent systems and a strong intuition for REST API design
• Experience navigating the complexities and stringent requirements of the financial technology sector
• The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and solve engineering puzzles that align with high-level business objectives
• A passion for mentoring and the ability to take ownership of large-scale system improvements
