[Remote] Senior Accountant | Innovative CPG | Fully Remote (PST or MST)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harmonic Finance Inc is a high-growth, mission-driven CPG brand focused on wellness and product innovation. The Senior Accountant will support financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls while managing month-end close processes and general ledger ownership. Responsibilities • Own month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations • Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP • Analyze financial activity, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies • Record, reconcile, and analyze revenue across DTC, marketplace, and wholesale channels • Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition principles consistently across revenue streams • Prepare weekly sales reporting and key operating metrics • Support inventory accounting, including reconciliations, cost flows, and inventory movement analysis • Partner with Operations to resolve inventory discrepancies and strengthen internal controls • Review accounts payable activity for accuracy, including vendor coding, expenses, credit cards, and payment runs • Prepare audit support schedules and coordinate requests with external auditors • Assist with sales tax reporting and responses to inquiries • Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and internal control enhancements • Support and coordinate outsourced accounting resources as needed Skills • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with strong GAAP fundamentals • Deep understanding of debits, credits, and the full accounting lifecycle • Hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations • Experience working with revenue across multiple sales channels • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort working with accounting systems (QuickBooks Online or similar) • Analytical mindset with the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, remote-first environment • CPG, consumer goods, or manufacturing experience • Inventory accounting experience in a high-volume environment • CPA or public accounting background • Familiarity with DTC, Amazon, and wholesale revenue models • Experience supporting financial statement audits • Exposure to tools such as Bill.com, Expensify, or similar platforms Benefits • Awesome benefits Company Overview • Harmonic is a B Corp Recruitment & Executive Search company that partners with some of the fastest growing start-ups, scale-ups, and entrepreneur-led organisations worldwide.
