Key Responsibilities
• Manage accrual-based financial records for various clients, often collaborating with an Accounting Associate or Accountant.
• Ensure timely and precise monthly financial closes and reporting, encompassing class reporting, job costing, and trend analysis.
• Oversee all functions related to accounts receivable and accounts payable, including revenue recognition and vendor payments.
• Prepare comprehensive cash management reports and monitor inventory for any anomalies.
• Handle fixed and intangible asset management, including depreciation and amortization schedules.
• Process payroll via third-party solutions and address any payroll-related inquiries.
• Assist management with critical tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and conducting audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation for financing transactions and evaluate lease agreements.
• Prepare tax documents and assist with year-end payroll requirements.
• Update and manage performance metrics, dashboards, and reports, while ensuring client procedure manuals are kept current.
• Conduct research to resolve technical accounting matters and suggest process enhancements.
• Facilitate client meetings with a strong focus on client service excellence.
• Track time and manage workloads effectively to meet established deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
• Engage in special projects and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

Required Skills
• A minimum of 5 years of extensive bookkeeping experience and at least 2 years of expertise with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.
• Strong work ethic demonstrating integrity, resilience, and teamwork.
• Exceptional knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Capability to effectively delegate tasks when necessary.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfort with virtual interactions with clients and teams.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with third-party applications (e.g., Bill.com, Tallie, Jirav, TeamWork).
• Desire to learn and adopt new technologies is highly valued.
• AIPB certification or relevant education in accounting (associate’s degree or minor) is advantageous.
