The Sales Call Center Specialist will engage with potential members through phone contact, scheduling VIP tours in our medical centers. The incumbent in this role is responsible for adding new members by communicating and demonstrating the organization’s entities major points of difference. He/She will educate prospective members about our medical centers and services offered through telephone conversations. Through scheduled tours, potential new members will be able to see our centers and meet with our Membership Development team before becoming patients.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handles inbound calls from potential new members that are initiated by local sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns that drive traffic into inbound phone lines.
• Maintains acceptable call metrics and performance standards, including effectiveness, efficiency and quality.
• Handles inbound calls from potential new members generated from TV, marketing and events.
• Schedules VIP tours of our medical centers.
• Invites prospects to local community events as requested.
• Grows and nurtures potential members toward becoming new patients.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage programs preferred.
• Proficiency with computer and web-based applications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
• Fluent written and oral English knowledge; bilingual (Spanish or Creole) is a plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills including active listening.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of related phone contact work experience required.
• Successful experience in a service industry is strongly preferred.
• Successful customer care sales experience is a plus.
• Experience with Community Relations.
• Experience working with seniors or Medicare eligible individuals.
