[Remote] React Native Developer (SHORT TERM CONTRACT)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Quantinium is a company focused on developing mobile applications, and they are seeking a React Native Developer for a short-term contract to polish and finalize their Quantum Wi-Fi app. The role involves taking over an almost-ready app, enhancing the UX/UI, fixing bugs, and ensuring production readiness. Responsibilities • Take over an almost-ready React Native app and get it production-ready. • Polish UX/UI and fix bugs in existing flows (auth, map, router connection). • Implement small additional features around map UX, router connection, and account/settings. • Harden authentication flows using existing UISP integration (error states, retries, timeouts). • Improve error handling, logging, and basic analytics hooks for QA. • Collaborate in short, focused iterations with clear handovers. Skills • Strong experience with React Native for iOS and Android. • Proven track record taking over existing codebases and shipping quickly. • Experience with map-based interfaces (e.g. react-native-maps, Mapbox, or similar) • Experience with auth flows (tokens, sessions, secure storage) • REST API integration and handling network edge cases • Solid debugging skills and comfort running concentrated bugfix sprints. • Clear communication and ability to work independently. • Familiarity with UISP / Ubiquiti or ISP/networking products. • Experience with Wi-Fi/networking concepts (SSIDs, roaming, captive portals). • Experience with common state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.). • TypeScript, Expo, or similar tooling. • Prior work on consumer apps with map/location features.
