[Remote] RCI-PG-15238-1 Grant Writer (Part Time)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rangam is seeking a Grant Writer to support the identification, development, and submission of grant opportunities that advance workforce development initiatives in the energy sector. The role involves conducting research to identify funding opportunities and preparing compelling grant proposals aligned with organizational priorities.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Research and identify grant opportunities related to workforce development, clean energy, utilities, and skilled trades across federal, New Jersey, and New York funding sources
ā¢ Monitor grant portals (e.g., Grants.gov, state agencies, foundations) to track upcoming funding opportunities and deadlines
ā¢ Evaluate grant opportunities for alignment with organizational workforce and talent development strategies
ā¢ Lead the writing, development, and submission of grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation
ā¢ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather program information, workforce data, and impact metrics for grant applications
ā¢ Maintain a pipeline and tracking system for grant opportunities, submissions, and outcomes
ā¢ Support post-award reporting and compliance requirements as needed
Skills
ā¢ Experience researching and writing successful grant proposals, preferably related to workforce development, energy, infrastructure, or education programs
ā¢ Familiarity with federal and state grant funding processes
ā¢ Strong research, writing, and project management skills
ā¢ Ability to translate technical or workforce initiatives into clear, compelling funding proposals
ā¢ Experience with public sector or utility-related programs
