[Remote] RCI-NYL-5970 Life Insurance Product Analyst REMOTE
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Rangam is seeking a Life Insurance Product Analyst as part of the Core Modernization program at New York Life. This role involves configuring retail life insurance products into a new policy administration system and creating scenario testing tools to ensure accurate policy lifecycle values.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design and update Excel-based scenario testing tools to support product configuration and lifecycle analysis for Retail Life products
ā¢ Build, test, and maintain accurate and reliable testing tools as we migrate to the new policy administration system
ā¢ Collaborate closely with the Automation Development team to integrate automation features and ensure seamless interaction with testing tools
ā¢ Monitor tool efficiency and reliability, making improvements to usability and performance
ā¢ Provide clear documentation and communicate findings across the team to support product development and modernization efforts
Skills
ā¢ Extensive, detailed knowledge of Life Insurance products and product functionality ā understand product components, how money/taxes come into play
ā¢ Strong Excel skills ā VLOOKUP, formulas
ā¢ General understanding of IRC Section 7702 and 7702A and the requirements within
ā¢ Strong communication skills ā ability to clearly explain tasks, report on calls with the SCRUM team
ā¢ Experience with Excel VBA
ā¢ Experience working in an Agile software development environment
ā¢ Working knowledge of QA review and testing processes, including designing test scenarios, understanding testing techniques and tools, and recognizing technology impacts
