[Remote] QA Engineer with Project Management Experience

Vantage Point Consulting Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer with strong project management experience to support System Integration Testing for a homegrown logistics platform. The role involves leading test cycles, coordinating across teams, documenting defects, and stabilizing the release process. Responsibilities • Lead and execute SIT and UAT testing cycles • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Document defects clearly and track them through resolution • Validate fixes and complete regression testing • Coordinate testing activities across development, business, and PM teams • Lead daily defect triage and provide clear status reporting • Manage testing timelines, risks, and dependencies • Communicate effectively with stakeholders • Understand system workflows and business rules • Analyze data mapping and integrations (NetSuite preferred) • Clarify or identify gaps in requirements • Validate release packages • Assist with deployment checklists and rollback steps • Support production smoke testing after deployment Skills • Strong QA experience specifically with SIT and UAT testing • Project management experience (required) • Experience using Azure DevOps for test cases, work tracking, and defect management • Experience testing homegrown or custom enterprise systems • Strong understanding of data flows, integrations, and business rules • Ability to lead defect triage and daily QA meetings • Strong documentation skills and communication clarity • Ability to work directly with developers, PMs, and business teams • Strong manual QA experience (SIT/UAT) • Experience with homegrown/custom enterprise systems • Azure DevOps experience (Boards, Test Plans, Pipelines) • Ability to write detailed test cases and documentation • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Experience working closely with developers and PMs • Ability to run daily standups and triage meetings • Strong coordination and timeline-tracking capabilities • Excellent verbal and written communication • NetSuite or ERP testing experience • Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain • Technical understanding of .NET applications (helpful but not required) Company Overview • Established in 2009, Vantage Point Consulting has provided Staffing and Software Solutions to the US market.
