And we’re currently hiring developers to join us on this journey!We are a company based in Sweden with developers in all parts of the planet!Job DescriptionWe are looking for a QA Engineer who will contribute actively to testing initiatives by taking ownership of feature-level manual testing, API validation, and test case design.ResponsibilitiesTake initiative in system stability and long-term maintenanceShow proactiveness in identifying bugs early and maintaining overall qualityDesign and execute test cases for user stories and bug fixes. Report bugs clearly and help reproduce edge casesApply critical thinking to outline test cases that cover both expected and edge scenariosContribute to functional and exploratory testingSupport API testing using tools like PostmanParticipate in QA validation during deployment windowsTake accountability and lead initial triage when incidents occurCoordinate with developers, stakeholders and product-owners for test clarificationsProactively outline the business and functional cases when planning a feature or a taskContribute to documentation and regression coverageParticipate in refining the QA process and standardsMentor junior QA engineers when needed and provide constructive feedbackSkills and Qualifications requiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or college diploma in QA Testing3- 6 years of experience with manual testing in agile environmentsStrong ability to outline well-structured, edge-aware test casesBasic to intermediate API testing skillsWorking knowledge of modern test case management toolsFamiliarity with debugging tools, logs, and dev console outputs for issue replicationStrong understanding of how to test systems that interact with multiple AI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI integrations, third-party APIs)Experience supporting deployment testing and post-release validationProven accountability in incident-related QA support and recoveryProactive attitude toward system quality and test ownershipComfortable collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product teams in a cross-functional environmentAble to balance testing priorities between fast delivery and thorough coverageAbility to communicate bugs and testing needs clearlyWillingness to mentor and support junior QA team members when requiredConfident in proposing improvements to existing QA practices and infrastructureEnthusiasm for continuous learning and testing process improvement.Originally posted on Himalayas
