[Remote] Project Manager, Value-Based Care

Verisma is a company focused on Value-Based Care, and they are seeking a VBC Project Manager to coordinate operational outcomes within their VBC Retrieval team. The role involves managing project timelines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives. Responsibilities • Collaborate with internal and external teams to define initiative scope, requirements, and objectives • Develop and manage comprehensive plans within Verisma’s cloud-based PMO and VBC platforms, including task tracking, documentation, and issue resolution • Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating timely communication and issue escalation • Confirm that all team members are aligned on scope, success criteria, and expected outcomes • Monitor daily progress across workstreams and validate performance against established benchmarks • Review and verify accuracy, productivity, turnaround times, and adherence to regulatory standards • Maintain thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle of each engagement • Provide regular updates to account owners and other key stakeholders • Initiate and manage change orders as needed to adapt to evolving project requirements • Capture and analyze initiative data to inform success metrics and dashboard reporting • Perform final validation of deliverables to confirm alignment with defined scope and quality expectations • Contribute to organizational knowledge by documenting best practices, lessons learned, and solution strategies • Perform other appropriate duties, as assigned, to meet the needs of the department and the company • Live by the standards set by the Verisma Core Values and ensure that business is transacted accurately and with the highest ethical standards Skills • High school diploma required; college preferred • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, coordination, or a related role, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities through standardized processes and tools • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client engagement and team collaboration • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a sense of urgency • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including advanced Excel functions such as charts, pivot tables, and complex data sets), SharePoint, and project management software or systems (e.g., Monday.com, Zoho Projects) • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment • Experience in Information Technology or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments preferred; background in healthcare technology is an advantage • PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable Company Overview • Verisma, trusted by 20,000+ clients across 50 states, is redefining how healthcare organizations manage and use health data – ensuring it’s trusted, secure and actionable for real-time, high-stakes decision making.
