[Remote] Project Analyst

The Project Analyst will be responsible for ensuring profitability throughout a project's lifecycle by designing interactive dashboards, analyzing complex data sets, and acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to deliver clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders ensuring visual consistency, data accuracy, and user-friendly design across all reporting assets Extract, clean, and structure data from various sources (SQL databases, Excel, Salesforce) to support reporting and analytics needs Analyze complex data sets to identify key trends, patterns, and anomalies and translate analytical findings into meaningful business recommendations and strategic insights Convert high volumes of data into meaningful and actionable reporting via Power BI, Power Query, SQL Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and alignment on project goals Continuously enhance reporting capabilities, automate recurring analyses, and support ongoing data literacy within the organization Build DAX measures and expressions in Power BI datasets to enhance data models and enable self-service analytics Collaborate with team members to peer review reports, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a high standard of data accuracy and consistency throughout the team Handle other projects as assigned Skills Strong PowerBI skillset (required) SQL Power BI Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are proficient in Microsoft office suites and an advanced Excel user Have excellent oral and written communication skills Have excellent time management, organizational planning, and problem-solving skills You follow instructions, respond to management direction, and keep commitments Able to manage, establish, and communicate clear goals and objectives Able to work remotely Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship Salesforce familiarity preferred Benefits 401(k) with company match Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Life insurance Short-term and Long-term disability Medical, dental, and vision insurance Dependent care and medical flexible spending accounts Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid time off Paid holidays Family and medical leave Paid sick time Company Overview MasTec Communications Group (MCG) is a division of MasTec that provides comprehensive services and turnkey solutions for Telecom operators.
