About the Role: Customer Care Professional As a Customer Care Professional, you'll be the face of our organization, making positive interactions with our customers every day. Key Responsibilities: Service inbound calls while engaging and conversing with entrepreneurs and managers, learning about their needs, and suggesting the right American Express SBS products Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate relevant product features, benefits, and other aspects of American Express Small Business Services Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing deals Provide exceptional customer care by responding to questions about accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment Record important account data according to established policies and procedures Integrity: Comply with all Administrative and Compliance rules related to servicing and sales practices Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: Customer support experience (2 years+) with a focus on building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, intelligence, and strong written and verbal communication Proven success in a customer support and sales environment (2 years+) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to multitask and navigate in an electronic setting High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following skills and qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a remote or virtual work environment Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Customer focus: A strong customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support Problem-solving skills: The ability to think critically and outside the box, with a focus on finding solutions and resolving issues Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Teamwork: A collaborative approach, with a focus on working effectively with others to achieve common goals and objectives Career Growth Opportunities: At American Express, we're committed to helping you grow and develop in your career.
