[Remote] Professional Liability Adjuster (Fully Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brown & Brown is a Claims Management Third Party Administrator specializing in Professional Liability Claims Management. They are seeking a Professional Liability Adjuster responsible for evaluating coverage, managing claims, and overseeing defense strategies to ensure fair and cost-effective resolutions. Responsibilities • Reviewing various insurance policies; determine whether the carrier has a duty to provide a defense and/or indemnification to the insured; prepare coverage correspondence, if there is a duty to defend, assign approved defense counsel. • Oversee the work of defense counsel who will report generally in 90-day intervals. • Attend mediations. • Determine the most cost-effective way to effectuate resolution of the claims. • You will be working with and reporting to someone with 27 years legal and claims experience. • Some travel required.
