[Remote] Principal Software Engineer (React + Node) - Remote - USA
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. They are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with expertise in React and Node to work with clients through team augmentation or product development.
Responsibilities
ā¢ You will integrate yourself directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis
ā¢ You will work on a FullStack product team to build and deliver a product to our clients
Skills
ā¢ 10+ years of professional software development experience
ā¢ Advanced English is required
ā¢ Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required
ā¢ Strong proficiency in C# and .NET
ā¢ Proficiency in React and Node.js for full-stack development
ā¢ Strong experience with modern frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
ā¢ Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, including knowledge of HTTP 1/2
ā¢ Solid experience in backend service development
ā¢ Deep understanding of software design and architecture best practices
ā¢ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
ā¢ Proven leadership and mentoring experience in senior or principal engineering roles
ā¢ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
ā¢ Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed
ā¢ Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications
ā¢ Forensic attention to detail
ā¢ A positive mindset and a can-do attitude
ā¢ Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams
ā¢ Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems
ā¢ Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon
ā¢ Ability to identify with the goals of FullStack's clients, and dedicate yourself to delivering on the commitments you and your team make to them
ā¢ Ability to consistently work 40 hours per week
ā¢ Experience with performance optimization techniques is preferred
ā¢ Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards in regulated environments is a plus
ā¢ Experience with CI/CD practices and modern frontend development patterns is nice to have
ā¢ Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in a technical environment
ā¢ Strong knowledge of architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
ā¢ Expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies
ā¢ Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus
ā¢ AI-enthusiastic in their workflow
ā¢ Professional Experience Or Personal Project Work With Cursor, Windsurf, or Google Antigravity
ā¢ Professional Experience Or Personal Project Work With Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Copilot CLI
