The working hours for this position are primarily on weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday from approximately 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, making it ideal for individuals seeking part-time work during these hours. In this role, the Dispatcher will oversee road service assigned to carriers by tracking trip performance measures, ensuring that routes begin on time, and managing incidents as they arise. The position requires the use of a computer system to retrieve scheduled information and reference materials to assist clients effectively. Additionally, the Dispatcher will provide customer support by addressing questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no-shows, cancellations, and missed trips. Daily reports and clerical duties are also part of the responsibilities, along with answering and directing business calls to the appropriate personnel. The Dispatcher will manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as a liaison between the carrier and emergency services. Proactive management of daily service by reviewing route performance and responding to situations that impact customer service is also a key responsibility. In some cases, the Dispatcher may need to drive a route as needed, adding to the dynamic nature of this position.
Responsibilities

Requirements
 Possess a Class B license with a passenger endorsement.

 Excellent phone demeanor and customer service skills.

 Ability to work independently.
