Multi-year/year-round program - starts as soon as possible and continues through 9/30/24 (summer included; must be available for entire duration of program) Reading and Math instruction via push-in sessions for grades 9-12 in Gainesville In-person programs at an alternative education campus with a neglected/delinquent student population (typically 2 grade levels behind) Part-time schedule of 14.5 hours per week Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9:30a-12p $30 per hour Our intervention teachers use a prescribed curriculum and the gradual release model of instruction to help students address their identified skill deficits and reach on-level academic success. Deliver designated instructional models to eligible students. Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans. Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required. Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation). Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents. Other duties as assigned. Teacher Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience Willingness and ability to teach various grade levels Must pass the Department of Justice background check process, including a drug screen Teaching Certificate is preferred Working knowledge of MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferred Experience with Alternative Education environments a plus A passion to help students About Catapult Learning: We are a company with over 40 years of excellence in education, providing K-12 contracted instructional services to public and private schools throughout the US.
