Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team. This person will serve as a senior level escalation point for Systems and Operations teams. This engineer will work second/third shift hours/days on a remote schedule.
Responsibilities:
 Troubleshoot various Windows and Linux servers and OS issues
 Help to virtualize an environment with VMWare
 Serve as escalation point with L1 and L2 teams
 Utilize PowerShell and Ansible commands for automation
 Work on a second and third shift schedule with a 24/7 team
 Perform various project and operations work- network troubleshooting, monitoring, patching, upgrading servers, migrating versions of OS, etc.
