Responsibilities:
Participate in research to develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems
Collaborate with research scientists and engineers to design and implement research projects
Contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions that can impact Google's products and services
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field
Experience in one area of software engineering (e.g., Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, AI, Deep Learning, etc.)
Strong programming skills in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, MATLAB, Go, Python, etc.)
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently attending a university in the US
Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after completion of the internship
Experience as a researcher, including internships, full-time, or in a lab
Experience contributing to research networks or projects, including publishing papers in conferences or journals
