What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns for strategic planning
- Design and develop reports using SQL and visualization tools
- Create value from data assets as part of the Enterprise Modernization Project
- Provide ongoing reports and insights to support DMV operations and decision-making
- Participate in data governance and the development of tools for data transformation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Background investigation clearance required prior to hire
- Experience in data analysis and the ability to work with complex data projects
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with data governance and ETL processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with modern data technologies in Data Warehouses or Data Lakes, such as Snowflake
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies like Agile and Waterfall
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and executive briefings
