Remote Performance Data Analyst - Disney
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Performance Data Analyst to join our team at Disney. As a Performance Data Analyst, you will play a key role in providing analytical support for our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce. Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting forecasting, root-cause analysis, and ad-hoc business analysis, as well as providing analytical support to local operations and partners across the division. You will be a self-starter, curious, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about data storytelling, with the ability to handle ambiguity and meet strict timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and own analyses from start to finish
Build presentations and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support multiple applications
Execute programs critical to the business operation accurately and under strict timelines
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
Familiarity with forecasting, including traditional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
Proactive attention to understand the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
Experience with SQL and R or Python
Nice-to-Haves:
Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new applications and skills
Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/teams
Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
