[Remote] Part-Time SQL Developer (SSIS/SSRS)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Risk Strategies Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced SSIS/SSRS expert to join their dynamic team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying high-quality SSIS packages and SSRS reports to provide insights to both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, optimize and deploy SSIS packages that integrate data from various sources into the company's databases and/or client extracts
ā¢ Create, modify, and optimize SSRS reports to meet business requirements. Collaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and integrity
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSIS packages and SSRS reports
ā¢ Provide technical support and training to end-users on SSIS and SSRS functionalities
ā¢ Document all development work and ensure that best practices are followed
ā¢ Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in SSIS/SSRS and implement them as necessary
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions
Skills
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
ā¢ A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS
ā¢ Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices
ā¢ Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
ā¢ Strong communication and documentation skills
ā¢ Certification in Microsoft SQL Server
ā¢ Experience with other BI tools like Power BI
ā¢ Familiarity with source control systems like Git
ā¢ Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure
