Remote Part-Time Data Clerk / Accounting Assistant (QuickBooks)
We are a growing forklift repair and service company seeking a reliable Remote Data Clerk / Accounting Assistant to support our daily administrative and accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and is willing to learn QuickBooks.
You will work closely with our dispatcher and parts department to ensure accurate invoicing, timely billing, and proper tracking of payables.
Responsibilities
β’ Create and process customer invoices in QuickBooks
β’ Email invoices and monthly statements to customers
β’ Enter accounts payable bills and match them against purchase orders
β’ Process and track payments for bills owed
β’ Coordinate with the dispatcher to send job-related and pending service emails
β’ Communicate with the parts department to verify pricing accuracy
β’ Maintain accurate and organized financial records
β’ Follow established workflows and meet daily deadlines
Requirements
β’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
β’ Reliable internet connection and computer
β’ Strong written communication skills
β’ Prior experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or administrative support preferred
β’ Experience in service, repair, or parts-based businesses is a plus

β’ Remote position
β’ Approximately 2 hours per day, flexible within agreed-upon timeframes
Compensation & Classification
β’ $10/hour
β’ Paid as an independent contractor (1099)
β’ Contractor is responsible for their own taxes
