Remote Part-Time Civil Litigation Paralegal (Contract)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury litigation, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
• Draft and respond to discovery requests
• Prepare and file pleadings and motions
• Assist in setting and coordinating hearings, depositions, and other case events
• Organize case files and maintain deadlines
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
• Support attorney(s) in all phases of litigation
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of personal injury litigation paralegal experience
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Ability to draft discovery, pleadings, and motions with minimal supervision
• Experience with Mississippi law and courts strongly preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with legal case management systems (experience with MyCase a plus)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
Compensation
• Pay is negotiable and based on experience
• Contract, part-time position
• Flexible hours, remote work

Pay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
