• Conduct virtual patient check-ins and follow-ups to monitor health status and address immediate concerns.
• Assist patients with understanding care plans, medication schedules, and health management techniques through virtual platforms.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHRs) and patient documentation.
• Coordinate appointments, referrals, and telehealth consultations with healthcare providers.
• Provide administrative support to nursing staff, including scheduling and managing patient communications.
• Educate patients on preventative care, healthy lifestyle choices, and available health resources.
• Triage non-emergency patient inquiries and escalate complex issues to appropriate medical personnel.
Required Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Comfortable learning and using new digital communication and healthcare platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
Preferred Qualifications
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• A relevant healthcare-related certification or coursework (e.g., CNA, HCA, or equivalent)
