Remote Non-Profit Audit Manager (Top 100 firm)

The Audit Manager position is focused on providing exceptional audit services to non-profit organizations. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in public accounting, particularly within the non-profit sector, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to a rapidly growing firm recognized as a Top 100 firm in the U.S.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Manage audit engagements for non-profit clients
ā¢ Lead and mentor a team of auditors
ā¢ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
ā¢ Prepare and review financial statements and reports
ā¢ Communicate effectively with clients regarding audit findings and recommendations
ā¢ Develop and maintain client relationships
ā¢ Assist in training and development of junior staff
Requirements
ā¢ CPA certification is required
ā¢ Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
ā¢ At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role
ā¢ Heavy experience with non-profit organizations
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
ā¢ Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting is a plus
ā¢ Experience with CCH ProSystems is a plus
Nice-to-haves
ā¢ Experience in tax compliance and planning for non-profits
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
