[Remote] Non Executive Director / Advisor (Part-Time)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nexus Point International is seeking a Non-Executive Director / Board Advisor to provide senior commercial and industry expertise to support the growth and performance of their executive search business. The role focuses on client acquisition, search effectiveness, and governance at the board level without involvement in day-to-day search execution. Responsibilities • Advise on revenue growth strategy across retained executive search and related advisory services • Support development of key client segments, priority sectors and target accounts • Provide guidance on winning, structuring and pricing retained search mandates • Challenge assumptions around pipeline, conversion, fee levels and client mix • Support the firm’s market positioning, value proposition and differentiation • Advise on thought leadership, relationship-led selling and reputation building • Provide insight into competitive dynamics within the executive search market • Act as a sounding board for the Managing Director, Partners and senior consultants • Support performance management, incentives and partner models aligned to growth • Introduce and support relationships with senior executives, boards, and investors where appropriate • Enhance credibility with clients through personal reputation and market standing • Represent the firm externally in senior-level discussions when required • Ensure high standards of governance, confidentiality and professional ethics • Support compliance with employment, data protection and diversity obligations • Provide independent oversight without involvement in day-to-day search execution Skills • Senior leadership experience within executive leadership advisory or professional services • Strong personal track record in winning and delivering professional services mandates • Deep understanding of relationship-led sales and long sales cycles • Ability to provide independent challenge and strategic guidance at board level • High integrity, discretion and credibility with senior stakeholders • Previous experience as a Non-Executive Director or Board Advisor • Sector specialism aligned to the firm's focus (e.g. technology, financial services, PE-backed, industrial, life sciences) • Experience scaling boutique or mid-market firms • Exposure to international or cross-border markets Company Overview • WHO ARE WE ▶ Nexus Point International is a specialist International CFO Search firm with a proven record of delivering World Class CFO's to the global PE/VC Industry and their Portfolio Companies within Consumer, Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrial, Life Sciences & Technology sectors.
