[Remote] Network Development Specialist_ Temporary Position

The Network Development Specialist will be responsible for recruitment of vision providers to Versant Health’s networks, following up with providers during the credentialing process, and maintaining the network as required.ResponsibilitiesRecruits and contracts new vision providers and facilities into Superior Vision and Davis Vision networks according to established goals and prioritiesTakes inbound and makes outbound phone calls to vision providers who have requested information, who have been recruited or who have been nominated by membersNegotiate fee schedules with new and existing vision providers in accordance with corporate goals and standards as required and review for completeness of application materialsObtain and process application materials and credentialing documents as required and review for completenessAssist in other projects as necessaryEducate providers on plan designs, processesBuild and maintain relationships with provider communityWork with provider practices to resolve complaints, claims issues as neededGenerate other ad hoc reports as neededGeneral supervision on completed work and monitoring against established goalsRequires daily use of considerable discretion, judgment and independent problem solvingWork with Director of Medical Network Development identify appropriate recruitment strategiesHave a quiet space conducive to working from homeOther duties as assignedSkillsHigh School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and educationOne (1) year of related experienceExperience in Medical Network DevelopmentProficiency in MicroSoft OfficePreferred bachelor's degreeKnowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferredBenefitsHealth and dental insuranceTuition reimbursement401(k) with company matchPet insuranceNo-cost-to-you vision insurance for you and your qualified dependentsCompany OverviewVersant Health offers eye health and vision care plan for members, clients, brokers, and eye care professionals.
