[Remote] Network Development Specialist_ Temporary Position

The Network Development Specialist is responsible for recruiting vision providers into Versant Health's networks, maintaining provider relationships, and ensuring the credentialing process is followed. This role requires strong negotiation and communication skills to meet established recruitment goals. Responsibilities Recruits and contracts new vision providers and facilities into Superior Vision and Davis Vision networks according to established goals and priorities Takes inbound and makes outbound phone calls to vision providers who have requested information, who have been recruited or who have been nominated by members Negotiate fee schedules with new and existing vision providers in accordance with corporate goals and standards as required and review for completeness of application materials Obtain and process application materials and credentialing documents as required and review for completeness Assist in other projects as necessary Educate providers on plan designs, processes Build and maintain relationships with provider community Work with provider practices to resolve complaints, claims issues as needed Generate other ad hoc reports as needed General supervision on completed work and monitoring against established goals Requires daily use of considerable discretion, judgment and independent problem solving Work with Director of Medical Network Development identify appropriate recruitment strategies Have a quiet space conductive to working from home Other duties as assigned Skills High School diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and education One (1) year of related experience Experience in Medical Network Development Proficiency in MicroSoft Office Preferred bachelor's degree Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred Benefits Health and dental insurance Tuition reimbursement 401(k) with company match Pet insurance No-cost-to-you vision insurance for you and your qualified dependents Company Overview Versant Health offers eye health and vision care plan for members, clients, brokers, and eye care professionals.
