[Remote] National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) Certified Coach
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MUUD Health is seeking a National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) certified coach to lead the implementation of their wellness coaching program. The role involves program leadership, coaching client support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic wellness through innovative health-tech solutions.
Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation and ongoing refinement of MUUD Health’s NBHWC wellness coaching program
• Serve as a public-facing ambassador—and potential influencer—for MUUD Health’s coaching services
• Develop and collaborate on digital wellness content, educational materials, or social media initiatives that help build your coaching presence and expand program reach
• Work with MUUD Health leadership—including the Director of Clinical Education—to shape coaching standards, session frameworks, and program identity
• Contribute to defining the voice, tone, and brand personality of MUUD Health’s coaching program as it grows
• Provide telehealth wellness coaching services to outpatient clients
• Hold regular coaching sessions, evaluate client progress, and adjust coaching strategies and goals
• Develop personalized wellness goals and coordinate appropriate referrals as needed
• Participate in client outreach initiatives to support program growth and expand your caseload
• Collaborate with psychologists, psychiatrists, NPs, LCSW/LMFTs, LPCs and care coordination staff
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to MUUD Health policies
• Assist leadership in refining client experience workflows and operational processes
• Complete administrative tasks, project management duties, and internal communications using Asana and Google Workspace
• Provide support for curriculum content development and teaching as assigned
Skills
• NBHWC certification (required)
• Qualified to practice health and wellness coaching independently
• Strong motivational interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable functioning within a multidisciplinary care team
• Knowledge of HIPAA and telehealth confidentiality requirements
• Passionate about mental health, wellness, and whole-person care
• Creative, proactive, and enthusiastic about content creation, community engagement, and personal brand development
• Proficiency with digital health tools and remote communication platforms
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nutrition, Exercise Science, Psychology)
