[Remote] Military Veterans: Commissioning Technician

The Commissioning Technician III is responsible for leading the installation and deployment of complex robotic systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities
• Lead onsite deployment and commissioning of robotic systems
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics
• Coordinate with multiple trades and client teams for installation planning
• Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to specifications
• Interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings
• Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech I & Tech II technicians
• Provide technical feedback and recommendations to engineering teams
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and field best practices
• Travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S. (potentially Canada)

Skills
• HSD or GED
• Technical training in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or complex industrial equipment installation
• Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration
• Strong understanding of BMS, FLS, and industrial networking fundamentals
• Proven ability to lead small teams or coordinate subcontractors in the field
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency interpreting and updating technical documentation
• OSHA 30
• Amazon Red Badge (training provided)
• First Aid/CPR
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred
• Prior work in Amazon Robotics or high-volume fulfillment environments
• Field leadership or site supervision experience
