Key Responsibilities

Inbound Call Handling: Answer incoming calls from health plan members and providers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring each caller receives the attention and support they deserve.
Eligibility Inquiries: Verify member eligibility and provide accurate information regarding coverage, benefits, and enrollment status.
Provider Assistance: Assist providers with inquiries about member coverage, prior authorization requirements, and network participation.
ID Card Requests: Process requests for member ID cards and ensure timely delivery to members.
Benefits Explanation: Explain complex benefit information in a clear, understandable manner, helping members maximize their coverage and access necessary services.
Prior Authorization Support: Guide members and providers through prior authorization processes and requirements for specific medical services.
Extra Benefits and Programs: Inform members about additional benefits and wellness programs available to them, such as disease management programs, preventive care services, and member rewards.
Documentation: Accurately document all interactions in our customer relationship management system to ensure continuity of care and follow-up when necessary.

Training Period (First 6 Weeks): 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
Production Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Residency: Must live within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and empathetically

Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently from home and remain self-sufficient in a remote work environment
