Key Responsibilities:
Determine patient eligibility for state, federal, or county programs, ensuring access to essential healthcare services
Maintain a high-volume case load while upholding productivity standards and delivering exceptional customer service
Develop and nurture professional relationships with hospital staff, patients, and state workers to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration
Prepare and ensure accuracy of documents, adhering to organizational standards, policies, and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families
Demonstrated problem-solving and case management skills, with proficiency in technology such as phone systems, computers, and Microsoft software applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
Texas Medicaid Enrollment Experience, with knowledge of Medicaid, Social Security Administration, and County Social Service programs (preferred)
Bilingual (English & Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply
