As a Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist - Part Time, you'll work closely with our patients, addressing their concerns, and providing timely solutions to their queries. Key Responsibilities Timely Issue Identification and Resolution : Review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner (50% of the role). Workflow Systems Management : Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems to properly assign follow-up dates, department requests, and notate accordingly (10%). Exceptional Customer Service : Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately, providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines (10%). Payment Transactions and Requests : Perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance (10%). Administrative Support : Assist with clerical duties as needed, such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%). Supervision and Guidance : Work under close supervision and guidance from the supervisor (10%). Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need: Essential Experience : 1+ year of medical revenue cycle experience. Preferred Experience : 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience, which will be considered an added advantage.
