Social Media Specialist
Sparo is a fast-growing, performance-driven marketing agency based in Miami. They are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage social media for multiple client accounts, create and execute content, engage with communities, and collaborate with internal teams.ResponsibilitiesPlan, create, and execute high-quality social media content aligned with brand voice, client goals, and Sparo standardsWrite strong, on-brand copy for posts, reels, stories, and campaignsCreate and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platformsDesign simple graphics and visual assets using Canva or similar toolsBuild and manage editorial calendars, ensuring content is delivered on time and at a high levelParticipate in and contribute to on-site content shoots, including capturing behind-the-scenes footageSupport the development and execution of social media strategies across 4–6 client accountsTrack trends, platform updates, and cultural moments—and apply them thoughtfully to client contentAnalyze performance metrics and provide insights to improve content, engagement, and resultsManage community engagement across social platforms (comments, DMs, interactions) in a timely, brand-appropriate wayAssist with identifying, coordinating, and managing influencer partnerships and deliverablesCollaborate closely with account managers, creatives, and the broader social teamManage tasks, deadlines, and priorities independentlySupport and help mentor social media internsParticipate in internal strategy sessions and client meetings as neededSkills1–3 years of professional experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketingPrior agency experience (full-time or internship) strongly preferredBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field—or equivalent experienceHands-on experience creating short-form video content for brands (not just personal accounts)Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and PinterestExperience using tools like Canva, CapCut, and basic video editing softwareAbility to leverage AI tools to streamline workflows (captions, calendars, briefs, etc.)Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and time managementComfortable working in a hybrid environment and managing multiple priorities independentlyBenefitsHybrid work environment (on-site for ~3–4 client shoots per month)Monthly healthcare stipendGenerous PTO policyProfessional development and growth opportunitiesSupportive, high-performing team with room for advancementCompany OverviewThis Is What Better Marketing Feels Like.
