• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and insurance payer policies
• Manage client accounts by maintaining clear communication, resolving billing issues promptly, and providing regular updates
• Conduct quality audits of billing submissions to uphold accuracy standards
• Utilize billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively to track claims status and generate reports
Experience
• Proven experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of medical coding, insurance claims processing, and payer requirements
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a remote or virtual environment preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with billing software platforms such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, or similar systems is highly desirable
• Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and healthcare providers effectively
