Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to provide temporary clinical documentation support for our care team. This role is focused on medication reconciliation, care plan documentation, and clinical record management within the EHR. There is no direct patient contact.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented MA who works efficiently, understands clinical workflows, and can independently maintain high-quality, accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform medication reconciliation using clinical notes, hospital records, and provider documentation
Update and maintain care plans and ongoing clinical documentation in the EHR
Upload, label, and organize clinical documents (hospitalizations, consults, discharge summaries)
Ensure medication lists and documentation are accurate, current, and complete
Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation standards
Required Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (MA) or equivalent clinical experience
Prior experience with medication reconciliation required
Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
HIPAA compliance and professionalism
Performance Expectations
Minimum 75% efficiency required, measured by completed, accurate documentation relative to hours worked
Preferred
Experience with Chronic Care Management (CCM) documentation
Prior remote clinical support experience
