[Remote] Marketing Automation & Email Experience Manager (Marketo Email Designer)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Horizontal Talent is seeking a Marketing Automation & Email Experience Manager to join their dynamic global team. The role involves designing and developing visually compelling emails and landing pages using Marketo, optimizing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance customer engagement. Responsibilities • Design and develop responsive, mobile-friendly, and dark-mode-optimized emails and landing pages using Marketo and Knak • Execute and optimize marketing campaigns, including email sends, nurtures, webinars, and events, within Marketo • Code and troubleshoot HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Velocity scripting to create dynamic and personalized experiences • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure email rendering and deliverability across various clients and devices • Analyze campaign performance and run A/B tests to recommend design and segmentation improvements • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to advise on UX/UI best practices, audience targeting, and campaign optimization • Explore and implement new automation techniques and personalization methods to enhance customer engagement Skills • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Marketo and proficiency in tools like Knak, Litmus, or Email on Acid • Advanced HTML/CSS skills with a strong understanding of responsive email design • Working knowledge of JavaScript and Velocity scripting • Experience in designing and testing email and landing page templates • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder alignment skills • Strong eye for design, detail, and brand consistency • Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharma, or healthcare • Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats or other content approval workflows • Understanding of marketing data standards, privacy compliance (GDPR), and automation best practices Benefits • Medical • Dental • Vision • Retirement Company Overview • Horizontal Talent provides staffing services for IT, digital marketing, and strategic markets.
