[Remote] M&A Senior Legal Associate (US Remote)

They are seeking an M&A Senior Legal Associate to lead and collaborate on corporate, M&A, and tax matters, advising clients through the business lifecycle and shaping the direction of the practice.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead and collaborate on corporate, M&A, and tax matters within the Business Transactions practice group
ā¢ Advise founders and executive teams on entity structuring, equity arrangements, and governance frameworks
ā¢ Structure, negotiate, and close M&A transactions, reorganizations, divestitures, and strategic partnerships
ā¢ Provide tax planning and structuring advice tied to transactions and ongoing operations
ā¢ Guide clients through all stages of the business lifecycle ā from startup through capital events to exit
ā¢ Partner with regulatory, litigation, and advisory colleagues to deliver holistic client solutions
ā¢ Support business development, thought leadership, and client education initiatives
Skills
ā¢ 10+ years experience in corporate law, M&A, and tax structuring, ideally gained in a sophisticated legal or advisory environment
ā¢ Experience supporting entrepreneurial, financial services, or high-growth business clients
ā¢ Strong communicator and trusted advisor with a commercial mindset
ā¢ Thought leader in corporate or M&A law ā speaking engagements, publications, or leadership roles a plus
ā¢ Comfortable leading deal teams and mentoring junior attorneys in a collaborative, remote-first setting
