About the position Responsibilities • Take reservations phone calls as needed • Maintain high level of knowledge of the resort offerings, accommodations and departments • Provide assistance with commission payouts alongside Hyatt Commissions Helps Desk • Act as liaison between guest and operations to include reservations details that may include guest special needs and requests • Handle any booking issues within Reservations Department and Front Desk • Attend regular training meetings with Reservations and Revenue Leaders to review booking trends, patterns, booking objections, and other information that would enhance direct sales efforts • Coordinate billing for clients as needed • Post reservation deposits as needed • Review reservations made daily and block accordingly • Work with Director of Revenue on inventory issues and opportunities Requirements • Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational and time management skills • Must be results-oriented and able to convey data-based information and ideas clearly • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including identifying, anticipating, preventing and solving problems as necessary • Refined verbal and written communication skills • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge with advanced excel skills • 1+ years Hotel experience preferred • Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation systems and procedures preferred • HyRes knowledge preferred Benefits • Base pay range of $33K - $52K per year Apply tot his job
